Trilateral Energy is a development and advisory firm that develops renewable and other energy and infrastructure projects as a principal, as well as with partners. We also provide advisory services in the following areas:


i) Project acquisition due diligence;

ii) Development feasibility (technical and financial assessment);

iii) Equipment sourcing and procurement;

iv) Negotiation & structuring of key contracts (PPA, fuel, EPC, O&M, etc.) and obtaining required permits;

v) Project construction analysis, including advising on specific turbine models for use with the particular resource;

vi) Investor & strategic partner introductions; and

vii) Structuring project financings.



Our skills and experience allow developers and early stage investors to augment their teams with seasoned senior development expertise at a point in the project life cycle that results in the greatest economic enhancement to the project development effort. Early stage analysis and proper contract structuring is critical to focusing efforts and resources on projects that will prove to be financeable and will provide the greatest economic returns.

We believe the “weeding process” is crucial to successful project development. Often the best decision for our advisory clients is not to pursue a project that will prove to be too complicated, too time consuming, too expensive or too marginal in terms of returns to achieve successful commercial operation.
