Experience

Our Experience

Our principals have over 75 years cumulative experience in all facets of energy and infrastructure development on hundreds of projects, with a particular expertise in renewable energy projects.

Our specialty is in clean energy technologies (wind, geothermal, hydro-electric, and ethanol) but our principals also have extensive experience with gas cogeneration and biomass projects.

Our principals were some of the key architects of the early development and acquisition efforts of CalEnergy Co. (now Mid-American Energy Holdings Co.) in the 1990’s, as it grew from a single project geothermal IPP with $90 million in revenue into a major public company IPP and then a diversified utility holding company with over $6 billion in revenue.

Our principals were actively involved in the following major green-field project developments and operating project acquisitions for CalEnergy Co. This is only a partial list and representative sample of our prior project experience:

i) Coso Geothermal Project, CA: 180 MW

ii) Salton Sea Geothermal Project, CA: 236 MW

iii) Dieng & Patuha Geothermal Projects, Indonesia: 240 MW

iv) Upper Mahiao, Mahanagdong & Malitbog Geothermal Projects, Philippines: 531 MW

v) Casecnan Hydro & Irrigation Project, Philippines: 180 MW

vi) Acquisition of Falcon Seaboard Gas-fired Cogeneration Portfolio: 522 MW

vii) Cordova Gas Project, IL: 500 MW

viii) Acquisitions of Northern Electric plc's and MidAmerican Company's Utility & IPP Energy Project Portfolio, IA & UK.

Our principals have also been involved in several hundred MW of wind power, ethanol, and biomass and water development projects with other parties.
